Recently, the division was presented with the Seven Seals Award by the Mississippi Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve. The honor recognizes significant organizational achievement or initiative that promotes the ESGR mission to gain and maintain employer support for the Guard and Reserve.
鈥淲e are grateful for this recognition and continue to be privileged to support our students and staff who are service members in achieving their academic and professional goals while also serving our nation and state. It is truly an honor,鈥 said MSU Vice President for Student Affairs Regina Hyatt.
Last year, the same organization recognized Hyatt and Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs Jeremy Baham with the Patriotic Employer Award for their support of service members. MSU also was presented with the Seven Seals Award in 2017.
