Bolton kicks off new MSU Riley Center season

Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Michael Bolton and his powerfully soulful voice will get the MSU Riley Center Fall/Winter Series off to a rousing start in downtown Meridian on Aug. 24 at 7:30 p.m. The series will bring to Meridian a dozen performances in music, theater and dance from some of the country’s most exciting artists.

As a special treat, half of the Fall/Winter Series events, including Bolton’s concert, will feature pre-show parties. The parties will start in the Grand Lobby at 6 p.m., an hour and a half before the show itself. Patrons will be able to socialize, enjoy refreshments, and share the happy buzz of excitement as curtain time nears.

Romance will be the theme when Bolton takes the stage. His soaring ballads of love and heartbreak have sold 55 million records worldwide. Starting with “How Am I Supposed to Live Without You” in 1989, he has charted nine number one hits. His catalog of iconic recordings also includes “Said I Loved You ...But I Lied,” “Time, Love & Tenderness,” “Soul Provider,” “How Can We Be Lovers,” and “When a Man Loves a Woman.”

Bolton’s MSU Riley Center appearance guarantees a night of grand entertainment on many levels.
